Show Location: Cochise College Benson Center, 1025 S. Highway 90, Benson, AZ.
(Roughly .8 miles south of I-10/HWY 90 interchange, east side of the highway - easy to miss!)
Schedule of Events:
September 1-27 Entry Forms submitted by post or on line. Sept. 27 is final day to submit forms
Monday, October 1 Receive Photos 1-6 PM at Cochise College Center, Benson, AZ
Tuesday, October 2 Photos will be hung for display
Thursday, Oct. 4 Judging. Open judges’ critique for participants at 1:30 p.m.
Friday, October 5 Show open to public for viewing during regular college hours (M-Th 8 AM to 9 PM, Fri 8 AM to 4 PM)
Thursday, October 11 Reception 5:00-7:00 for photographers and public. Everyone welcome. Refreshments. Awards
Tuesday, October 30 Show comes down and all entries must be picked up between 1-6 PM.
Presentation: Each piece must be framed and have a wire hanger attached securely. No bracket hangers, please. No gorilla tape – it will fail.
Entry: A total of up to 4 entries will be accepted from each entrant. All entry forms must be postmarked by September 27 or be entered on line by 27 September, 2018. Each item must be named on the entry form. Each item must be labeled on the back with entrant's name, the title of the entry, and a price if the entry is for sale. Fees per item: SPRAC Members $5; All others: $7. There is No entry fee for those entering the Youth Division (under 18 years of age).
Receiving and Pick-up: All entries must be hand delivered and picked up at Cochise College, Benson Center during hours shown in the Schedule of events.
Eligibility: Open to all photographers. Photos are to be an original creation by the entrant.
No work previously shown at a San Pedro River Arts Council show is eligible.
Security and Liability: SPRAC and Cochise College will exercise all reasonable precautions to prevent loss or damages, however, the artist will assume all risks. Release waivers must be signed by all entrants. Note that the Cochise College Benson Center will be open to the general public for normal school activities during the entire show.
Awards: Judge will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons within each division; Best of Division Rosettes with $50 cash prize each; and a Best of Show Rosette with $100 cash prize. Additional Sponsor Awards and special awards will be given. There will also be a People’s Choice Award of a rosette and $50 cash prize to be announced at the end of the show.
· Maximum size for any photo including frame is 36" in either dimension. Larger works submitted will be hung and judged on a space available basis and entry fee returned if not hung.
· Management reserves the right to refuse any work deemed inappropriate for family viewing and will reject copy work.
· Decision of judge(s) is final.
· Show chair and president will decide issues not related to judging.
1. Monochromatic (includes B&W and monochromatic such as sepia)

3. Color for Advanced/Professional
4. Youth Photography for 18 years and under – all types
There will be no distinction between traditional film and digital images. We do not discourage "digital darkroom work" in any way.

ENTRY FORMS AND FEES: There are two ways to enter:
Regular mail—go to our website at www.sprarts.org or to a member to print out or obtain an entry form.
Return the form with fees to SPRArts, P.O. Box 1358, Benson, AZ 85602.
Online—go to our website at http://www.sprarts.org/online-entry.html and complete the on-line entry form and submit and pay online using our PayPal option.
DEADLINE for entries is NO LATER THAN September 27, 2018
Late entries will be accepted if there is space available and will be subject to a $5.00 late entry fee PER ITEM.
Each piece of art must be framed or appropriately presented for its’ medium.
All work must be strung with wire for hanging (bracket hangers are NOT acceptable).
We will not accept any art work not ready to hang.
